Lots of chatter at training tonight, you can always tell when the girls get anxious about their upcoming meets. They analyze, they talk numbers, they talk about changing their sport, anything and everything to try and get out of doing their 10 min or 5 min training set. The Boss keeps them on track, sometimes I just start the clock and let them flail to their bells to get them to focus on their training.

12 days out and not too much time to train so we need to focus on the task at hand and that is getting through their sets. The sets my girls will be competing in are as follows.

Bethany Lewis 24 kg Long Cycle 10 Min set & 5 Min Double Clean and Jerk challenge set with 12 or 16 Kg (still undecided on size)

Shannon Lewis 16 Kg Long Cyle 10 Min set & 5 Min Double Clean and Jerk challenge set with 12 Kg bell

Victoria Denny-Lailey 5 Min set 12 Kg Snatch & 10 Min set of 8 Kg Snatch

Shawnna Djorsev-Browne 5 Min set of 16 Kg Snatch (or Long Cycle) & 5 Min set of Double Clean and Jerk

Warm up 5 Mins Joint Mobility

Swings, 2 mins heavy 2 mins alternating

Sport set 2 Min warm up

5 min set (long cycle or snatch)

5 Min Set Double Long Cycle for competitors

5 Mins non-competitors, 2 min snatch/1 min squat 2 min highpulls

 

2 Min Heavy Set Clean and Jerk x 2

2 Min Heavy Set Snatches x 2

2 Min Bent Over Rows

2 Min Squat sequence 30 sec drop/30 sec sumo/30 sec swing squat x 2

Training resumes Wed Morning and Evening, the Girls from the North American Outlaw Kettlebell Club will rock the platforms in 12 short days.
