Train for a pump and leave reps in the tank because this is secondary day!
Bench Practice. Reps with Heavy Weight. 405x6 Multiple Sets
Bench practice is usually the best thing I can do for my maxes. As I get better at repping weight in the 4-6 range, my max blows up without destroying my elbow tendinitis by dropping below 3 reps.
5/3/1 Week 1: Bench Press - 275x7 (Video) & Log Presses
Working on briefly pausing everything and re-ingraining technique.
First Day of 5/3/1: 3s Week for Deadlift - 475x6 (Video)
Staying slow and controlled with DL and only doing the 5/3/1 sets before focusing on other assistance movements.
