Having a solid mental approach to competing is critical, and learning to compartmentalize mistakes is the key between having a good day and a bad day. And the XPC Finals tested my mental game to the limits, with a fantastic surprise to end the day.

I still wasn't feeling great, and was a few pounds light, even though I had been eating a ton. I was probably a little sick and should have taken it easy, but hindsight is 20/20 I guess.
