If someone told me I could never lift again, would I be ok with it? It would definitely hurt like hell but I honestly think I would be ok with it. Why?, because I love to “Pay It Forward”, I love to “Live, Learn, Pass On”. If I could take all that energy and transpose it into paying it forward I would be ok with that. I will take the support I have had and try to pay it forward whenever I can.
One of the biggest and best tools that I have used and continue to use daily is our “Percussor”. What’s a Percussor you ask?
A Percussor is a hand-held mechanical adjustment device with a unique "Galvanic Wave" action that can be used to reduce muscle spasms, increase circulation, release fascia restrictions, drain the lymphatic system and more.
This tool was given to Ken and I as a gift. A gift that was meant to be used for us, for each other but we “Pay It Forward” with it almost every single day. Can’t get under the squat bar because your shoulders are too tight, no problem. Have a tight hip and can’t squat, no problem. Hamstring/glute locked up and in pain, no problem, I gotcha covered. Now let’s be clear I’m no Doctor but you don’t have to be to use this machine. We took a muscle testing seminar with Dr. Ken Kinakin and are using that information and knowledge and applying it daily to help each other and our team members. "Knowledge is Power", never stop learning.
Funny story, last weekend at the powerlifting meet Ken had a guy come up to him and say hey, “ You don’t know me but I have a bad back and I heard you have a machine that will fix me”. Perception, again we aren’t Dr’s and when you help one person, it gets around to the next and the next and the next person. Last year at the Arnold’s I treated 25 people with the percussor. I would say that machine has earned its value over and over again.
Another huge way I would “Pay it forward” and already do is to help others become better lifters. I love watching people lift and picking out their strengths, weaknesses and giving tips and tricks on how to become better. I have already helped so many people obtain PR’s with their lifts and given them the confidence to become better.
So tell me I can lift anymore, I would be ok with it as long as I can still help others achieve their goals.
