My left groin still felt less than stellar with a big split jerk so I either split my left forward instead of back or just did a smaller split for all these.  Besides that everything felt good though, which is a first on log for a while.

Light Weight For Distance

Sadly, my 1 turns were almost the same distance as my full throws so somewhere in the process of doing 2 turns I am losing all my momentum or directing it wrong.  On a better note, Dave came out and trained throws with me, which was great even though we both looked like drunk monkeys out in the field at Iron Strong.

I will not be training on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day cause I'm not hardcore.  Just kidding.  The reality is that if I were single and had minimal or no holiday plans, I would definitely train as I have many times in the past, simply because I like it and it (usually) makes me feel good and puts me in a better mood.  But since my girlfriend and I are hosting her family for Christmas this year and we are actually doing Christmas on Christmas Eve due to her work schedule at the hospital, I have a lot of holly jolly holiday shit to do to prepare and if I fuck it up because I chose to train instead of cleaning the house or going to the store for the 15th time because I keep forgetting something I need to cook dinner or because I need more beer or whatever, then that would be pretty selfish of me and I'd feel like an ass hat.  So train every damn day if it makes you happy and doesn't sod up yours or anyone else's enjoyment of their holiday, and don't train if you've got more than yourself to worry about this time of year.  Either way, I bet it will all work out.
