Today it was just Mike and me at training since everyone else was out of town or, in Inman's case, recovering from the prowler mile. My only goal for the day was to do enough to get a little bit of technique work in so I just followed along with what Mike was doing since he has a competition in 2 weeks.
Log Clean & Press (clean once)
complex x 85
complex x 135
complex x 175
5x225
5x245 - I just wanted to mess around a little bit with doing a viper press (a one motion log clean and press) since it's something I'm fairly awful at and I knew it would force me to keep the weight lighter. 245 I am pretty sure ties my all time viper PR and it was definitely easier this time than last time. I tried 255, but was way out of position and way slow on the transition from clean to press so that was good for today.
Farmer's Walk (turns @ 50')
2x100'x110
200'x160
200'x225 - This was hilarious as I got visibly slower and my turning got worse every 50 feet.
Yoke
100'x250
50'x340
50'x450
3x50'x500 - This might have been 4 runs, but Mike and I got to talking and the beauty parlor effect took over.
Backward Drag
4x100'xprowler+200 - I was thinking this might have been too easy after the first run, but each successive drag got exponentially worse for both Mike and me.
