Nick was in town this weekend to visit and train and he finally crossed squatting in a monolift off his bucket list when we went to Mike's garage. We started out in my garage for 18" deads in my new rack. Fun fact - the bottom pin setting is EXACTLY 18" from the floor. After that we headed to Mike's to squat, then finished up at the Unit MkIII. It was a lot of moving around, but we got to train with so much radical equipment and so many gnarly people.

3x315 - Added Jack briefs
2x405 - Added belt
1x495
1x545 - Added Jack suit. This felt the best that squatting in gear has felt since I started doing it again. I was able to get down easier and smoother without fighting for position and coming up felt like cake. This was where I stopped today though because we had a lifter go down with a pretty serious quad tear and after that no one wanted to squat anymore.
Circus DB

2x3ea x 125
3ea x 145
1ea x 165
2x160 - Right side only. I was having a lot of problems with the DB slipping off my shoulder today due to sweating like a pig at a luau. I need to start doing some higher rep work with light weight to get my technique dialed in on this.
Yoke
100' x 250
100' x 450
100' x 630 - This felt pretty good and speedy, but afterward my left ankle was kind of wonky so I didn't go up anymore. I did bring it back at a very slow pace when everyone was finished though since we ended up with the yoke 100' away from the door to the Unit.
