Block 10, Wave 3 - BP

We went over using e-stim for biofeedback in electrophysiology lab today.  Briefly, this consisted of hooking my left upper trap up to electrodes, having me perform a maximal isometric contraction, and then focusing on  keeping it relaxed using visual and audio cues from the machine.  I have a suspicion that my brain worked so well at this that it had a lasting impact into my training.

PVC Bench

Bench Press

10x95

5x135

3x185

1x225

5x260

3x295

2x330

The first rep flew up, but then halfway up on number 2 my left side just shut down.  I had the whole right-side-higher-than-left-side thing going on that happens to people when they first start learning to bench and have crappy neuromuscular control.  I was at least able to get it under control and grind out the rest of the rep, but I felt like I was good for 5-6 reps here today based on my recent training and how good I felt.  False.  I was barely good for 2.

Pendlay Rows/Axle Floor Press

6x185/6x160

3x{10x225/10x220} - I had planned to bump up my volume here this week, but after the debacle on benching I changed my mind.  Also both of these exercises felt worse than last time I did them.
