I am not going to go into detail for each day because it is just not that important. It is not like I was training for a meet. It just shows what I did to keep myself in working order and from blowing up 10 lbs while away.

It is awesome to stay in a time share because we had a full kitchen which opens a lot of options for eating. The first thing we did when we got in on Sunday was walk a couple of miles to the grocery store. We loaded up with deli meat, cheese, eggs, peanut butter, bread, fruits, and a few other things. Plus I always need distilled water for my cpap. That alone added some good weight to my pack for the walk back. So that walk was pretty much the exercise for the day.

Monday thru Sunday Jess and I took two 45 minute walks down the beach. One in the am and one in the pm. Plus we walked everywhere when we went out in the evening.

For training we hit three days at the resort gym. We did a chest/shoulders/tri day. We had a back and bi day. Then we had a leg day.

Four of the days we did 20 minute calisthenic circuits on the beach.

Nutrition wise, I pretty much followed my normal routine. I just drank coffee most of the day, but with no protein like usual. I just wanted to take a week off from the powders and shaker bottles. I had some fruit later in the afternoon. After training I had a sandwich or some eggs and a bagel. For dinner, it was no holds barred. I ate my wheels off from appetizers to dessert.

Being back home I weighed 251.5 so I gained 4 lbs, but I am sure that will come off in a day or two. I know travel and sodium played a big part in it. So I am pleased with the little things I did over vacation to keep it more part of the healthy lifestyle I have adopted. Now it is back to training and conditioning hard.

Thanks for reading.
