Last Wednesday for Event Day we did Axle Deadlifts up to 545lbs, followed by several sets of Farmer’s Walks w. 220lbs per hand. Definitely a different feel on starting the pull with the axle not having any bend/whip. I also took 565 and missed at lockout, before realizing that in Strongman I'm allowed to ramp/hitch the bar..
I'm going to start doing more Farmers Walks on the weekends (and heavy) to work on improving that as well - Chipping away...

B. Axle Deadlifts up to 545lbs (miss at 565lbs)
C. Farmer's Walks up to 220lbs per hand.
