During this final stretch of meet week my body feels the worse than it ever has. I am not getting any better. I am currently running my 2nd dose of antibiotics, my second dose of oxycodone cough medicine, my 1st run of prednisone, my 2nd run of nasal spray and I am not resting well due to breathing issues. This is defiantly not the time I really need this going on. Everyone at the gym is sick and this stuff is running rambit like the plaque here in our community.
To top everything else off I have not been in my bench shirt since week 3 of my training nor have I done any significant heavy benching due to tweaking my pec on a supplementary day training on the incline bench doing stupid shit. The odds are stacked up against me. The days are counting down and I am not sure what I am going to do or how this will go if I try to attempt this meet. Do I say to heck with it and do it or should I just take the loss and chalk it up as a an entire training cycle down the tube and start again anew and look for the next meet? We will see....
