I am wrecked! I love off season training and I hate it! This type of training always allows me to really get myself back stronger in areas that are lacking (and I am lacking in several areas). We have done this off season training for several years now between lapses in upcoming meets and have gotten great results because of it. Its really hard to do this type of volume during a training cycle and be able to function properly. We take a few weeks away from the big three (squat, bench, deadlift) and have some fun with the accessory stuff. It give a break from the weekly grind of training cycles for meets and my Team really enjoys the variety....
