I recently lifted in the 2019 APF Raw Challenge in Chicago. I ended up with an 1802 total via a 705 squat, 463 bench and 633 deadlift.
1. Bench with shoulder saver - 365 x 3 x 3.
I much prefer the shoulder saver over boards or bench blocks. I don't really know why, I just like the way it feels better. It is also a pretty challenging range of motion for me. I'm not great at the 1.5-2 board height. Should be a good movement to use for the next couple weeks.
2. Swiss Bar Incline - 225 x 3 x 8
3. SS Yoke JM Press - 135 x 4 x 12
The SS Yoke bar is a much better bar for me to do this movement. I'm able to do this without any pain.
4. Low Cable Row - 70 x 4 x8.
Experimenting with different row variations and using our cheapo lat pulldown to do it. Did this in a similar stance as you would a dumbbell row. With the cable pulling both forward and down, the angle is a little different. Nice change of pace.
5. Rope Pressdown/Hammer Curl - 4 x 20
