Last week I was called out by training partners that I was AT parallel. I decided to drop one mat off, so now the box was on its lowest setting with one mat and I felt EVERY inch extra that I had to go. Last week I ended with a solid 580 and was determined to match or beat that on a lower box. Everything felt good and when the final set came about I took a hit of, "Wake Up Mother F***er" and was off to hit this triple loaded with 600lbs in sleeves!
My ego was a little inflated after squatting which transferred over to our have deadlifts. This was not a good combination because I was already fatigued and was attempting to pull with no belt to push my back strength. I beat what I did last week by 30lbs but my form and back paid for it looking like a bright fresh rainbow from my feet to my hands.
