After doing a good wave of training I take a week or two to decompress my body by doing totally different exercises.

Chest and triceps:

  1. Hammer strength incline press 10x10
  2. Seated cable fly 5x20
  3. Single cable triceps Ext. 5x20
  4. DB bent over triceps kickbacks 10x10
That's all I needed. Good pump. No pain. 20min on the elliptical.

Good easy training day. Staying healthy to be able to train heavy is my main goal. Not waiting for something to heal up before choosing an exercise. Or choosing to compete. Keeping my focus on staying as healthy as possible. Strength only happens when all muscles are able to work at once. Not the right side then the left side back to the right . For those that understand me... you get it. For those that aren't to this point yet, listen to me and re-read this. It can be avoidable.
