Description

Built for Focus, Trust, and Strength

We merged the thinner, steadier American Thin frame with our most versatile handle layout—angled grips—and dropped the middle to expand the range. The camber can face up or down, so you choose extended or restricted motion on every set.

Why Choose the Cambered Angled Grip

  • Two Ranges in One Bar – Camber down for deep stretch presses; flip it up for short-path overloads.

  • Eight Shoulder-Friendly Grips – Four widths (7", 16.5", 24", 30") plus forward or reverse angles double your options.

  • Natural Wrist Alignment – Angled handles reduce joint stress and allow easy reverse-grip pressing.

  • Plates Clear 3×3 Posts – Weight stops moved 2" outward, keep iron away from rack and bench uprights.

  • Slim, Stable Frame – 3" thinner than the original American Press Bar for steadier presses and smoother force transfer.

  • USA-Made Durability – Fully welded, powder-coated steel built to outlast cheap imports.

FAQ

Why isn’t there knurling on the handles?

These bars have a textured powder coat that gives a good grip. Adding knurling would significantly raise the price because we make the bars in small batches. If demand grows, we may add knurling later.

Do the sleeves spin?

No. Spinning sleeves would also raise costs and are unnecessary for the pressing and rowing moves this bar is made for. A solid sleeve keeps the bar strong and the price fair.

best got better

have had the american cambered grip bar for something like ten years. favorite bar ever, has so many uses it's silly. have now a reason to get a second one and decided to try the thin version. the only thing i like better about the original style is the larger radius on the square tubing edges vs the laser cut steel plate on the new one. not exactly sharp edges on the new bar, but certainly less forgiving.

anyway this bar is just as badass as the original and just as useful. hasn't unlocked any new movements, does give some extra room across the throat when pressing, grip widths are just a bit different but not really noticeable or annoying. love it. between this, the ssb, and a straight axle, bar selection complete.

Love this bar

Great bar. Very strong build, not heavy and very easy to move around. This bar does not wobble when pressing. The spacing and angles of the handles feel great. So comfortable. Don't worry about the handles not being knurled. You don't NEED knurling on everything and the handles feel just fine. It's the performance that counts and this bar feels great and it's priced well. If you get this bar you won't regret it.

Kick a$$ bar

Kick a$$ bar. If handles were knurled it would even be better. I threw on some skateboard deck tape. Helps out my banged up shoulder.

American Thin Press Cambered Angle Grip Bar, Less is More!

We purchased the American Thin Press Cambered Angle Grip Bar when it was first released. We still have the original 9" wide model which is now collecting dust. The lack of knurling is not a deal breaker and the rackable area of the sleeve area is now 7" instead of 5" making it much easier to rack the bar. That said, in our opinion, the loadable sleeve could be reduced by at least 4". A 14" sleeve on a specialty bar is overkill for most gym owners, especially in a home gym setting. As mentioned, the original Cambered Angle Grip Bar is about 9" wide and the new Thin Bar is 6" wide, this makes it much easier to balance. Overall, aside from the color (Gruesome Grey), we highly recommend the American Thin Press Cambered Angle Grip Bar to all Gym owners..

A BAR FOR EVERYONE!!!

This is now one of my top three bars in my home gym and I own over a dozen different bars. I am a smaller woman and found all the other "ladder/swiss" bars too large, heavy and cumbersome for my smaller frame. So, I bought this bar just for me. I can now chest press, overhead press and row without feeling like I'm trying to wrangle a newborn calf.
The truly surprising thing is that my training partner who is a 300lb, 700+ lifter has fallen in love with it. Whaaaa??? I didn't think he would even be able to get his ham hock hands in-between the bars, but he said the bar feels fantastic. Also, all the visiting lifters to my little gym love it and it's the bar they always pick to train with. This is truly a bar for everyone!!!
So, AWESOME job with this bar, guys!!! Keep up the great work!!

Thin American Press Bar

The bars ergonomics are great. I understand using certain measures to keep cost as low as possible, but the bar would benefit from knurled handles. The lack of knurled handles is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. The service from elite fts was superb.

Thin press cambered angled grip bar.

A fantastic multi grip bar to press and row with. I will definitely be purchasing one of the neutral grip variants in the future.

Really like this bar!

This really is a great bar! Comfortable angles, good on the joints, deep stretch, not overly bulky. The only thing that might make it better would be knurled grips.

Total game changer.

I already had an old press bar that I've been using for years now—multi, neutral grip. I had been eyeing this new one, watched the videos, and seen people using it online. Total game changer for me. After years in a home gym, I finally really feel chest workouts again. Pressing, overhead, rows. Doesn't matter. This does it all and does it right. Like an SS Bar/Yoke, this is a must have! Worth every penny. I can't say enough about it

We love to hear that! Keep it up and keep pushing! Thank you for the review! - Elitefts
