Train on the Bench You're Going to Compete On

Every serious bencher learns this the first time it happens: months of training with the arch dialed in, foot position locked, leg drive consistent — and then you get to a meet and the bench is at 18 inches. Your arch is different. Your hip position is different. The setup that worked in the gym suddenly has to be rebuilt on the platform.

Bench height is not a small variable. The difference between 16 inches and 18 changes the angle everything works from.

The elitefts Competition Flat Bench is built to 18 inches from floor to pad — the standard competition height used across major powerlifting federations. You train at 18. You compete at 18. No adjustment period on meet day.

Built to the Spec That Matters

There's a version of every equipment category that's built to look like the thing. Then there's the thing.

The frame is 2.5" x 2.5" 11-gauge steel tubing with all-welded construction — not bolted. Every joint is permanent. No hardware to tighten, no frame to check between heavy sessions. That matters when the same station sees multiple serious benchers every day for years.

The pad is 12" x 48" x 2.5" with 2-inch high-density foam bonded directly to the plywood base — not sitting on top of it. When you're at your tightest arch and driving everything into the pad, nothing shifts. The cover is marine-grade Naugahyde, built to handle repeated heavy contact without breaking down. The frame is powder-coated to withstand chalk, sweat, and the daily demands of a working weight room.

Every Detail Has a Job

  • Adjustable J-Cup Uprights: Set your liftoff position for any grip width — close-grip, wide-grip, raw, or equipped.

  • Diamond-Plate Spotter Platform: Textured steel step-up platform. If a spotter is standing there for a heavy single, they're not slipping. This is what separates a serious bench press station from a flat bench with uprights bolted on.

  • 18" Competition-Spec Height: The standard for a reason. Built into it from the start.

  • All-Welded Construction: Every joint is welded. Nothing to bolt, nothing to check, nothing to maintain.

Customize It for Your Gym

Available in nine powder-coated frame colors: Black, Red, White, Blue, Green, Orange, Platinum, Purple, and Yellow. Pad color is also selectable, including the Black Grip Pad option.
