American Thin Press Neutral Grip Bar
Why We Built It
Serious lifters asked for a press bar that feels as solid as a straight bar but keeps the shoulder-friendly neutral grips they Trust. So we shaved 3 inches off the thickness of the original American Press Bar, pushed the weight stops 2 inches farther out, and created the American Thin Press™ line.
Key Benefits
- Greater Wrist Stability & Force Transfer – The thinner frame keeps the bar steadier during heavy presses.
- Bigger Range of Motion – Extra clearance lets you sink extensions deeper and press overhead without hitting your chin.
- Rack-Friendly Design – Wider rackable zone (42"–55") protects plates from 3×3 posts and bench cups.
- Four Neutral Grip Widths – 7", 16.5", 24", 30" to match close, medium, and wide dumbbell spacing.
- One-Piece USA Fabrication – Fully welded, powder-coated, and built to last.

FAQ
Why isn’t there knurling on the handles?
These bars have a textured powder coat that gives a good grip. Adding knurling would significantly raise the price because we make the bars in small batches. If demand grows, we may add knurling later.
Do the sleeves spin?
No. Spinning sleeves would also raise costs and are unnecessary for the pressing and rowing moves this bar is made for. A solid sleeve keeps the bar strong and the price fair.
