Monday was a shirted board press day

A few weeks ago, I had worked up to 695 off of a 3 board, so this time, my goal was to match it on a 2 board.

I still wasn't feeling great, and was a few pounds light, even though I had been eating a ton. I was probably a little sick and should have taken it easy, but hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

Warmed up to 315, which was harder than it should have been. Put the shirt on and went:

405 - 3 board

495 - 2 board

Stayed on the 2 board and went

545 x 1

585 x 1

635 x 1

675 - miss

Just couldn't lock out my left arm. I guess the combination of a lot of recent shirt training and being a little under the weather took a toll.

Oh well. I'll keep working to get my weight back, take a week off from the shirt and try to get back on track when I can. Finished with 10 x 10 hammer strength rows and a few sets on the dip machine.
