I still can’t even bench 225 without every bone in my arms and shoulders being in pain. I never had any of these joint issues prior to taking biologics for my autoimmune disease (which list joint pain as one of the primary side effects), so I think I’m finally going to bite the bullet and try coming off of them on my own. Since going on these meds I’ve had heart issues and joint pain which are worse than the original symptoms I was being treated for. I figure the worst case scenario would be that my symptoms come back and I have to go back on the med or find another one. I’m still very disheartened by how Western medicine works by treating the symptoms but never the cause. I don’t want to be reliant on a drug for the rest of my life without giving my body the opportunity to heal itself. I’d like to be able to go into a meet to just have fun with the team, but I have a hard time half-assing anything. I’m happy to just coach at this one.
