A big cue used today was to "bend the bar around your shins". In other words, I wanted the scapula to retract hard to support the thoracic spine. Too many were rounding and letting their hips lead the ascent and then the final pull had to come from the spine. NO! I want the chest up and leading the way. By bending the bar around the shins I was getting a lot more good looking deadlifts. Today's Training: AirDyne: 25 mins. Deadlift: 4 reps; PRE=8p Beat the numbers from two weeks ago Reverse Hyper w/ a pause on contraction: 4x10 Bike Commute: 27 mins.
A good cue for the Deadlift today
