The one thing that is controllable is your attitude or your approach to any task. I adopted an attitude that no matter how much something sucks, I'm going to get after it as hard as I can and what it takes to accomplish or complete it. Two things happen that I think is fun. First, I am less tense about the task, and I usually get it done quicker than if I didn't have a good attitude, and Second, it pisses the people who have poor attitudes right the heck off! THAT can be a lot of fun. Having a good attitude is the first thing others will notice! Don't believe me? Try it! Today's Training: It's been a hot couple days. +100 degrees and the gym is NOT air conditioned. Not awful but not the best for performance either. (I like it hot) Tier I Run: 5K and took the dog out before the sun came up so she didn't have to go out in the heat. So an additional 1.5 mile puppy walk. Actually felt pretty good doing it.
