If you are following my YouTube channel, and you should be, you know that I'm making a comeback and my wife is back in the gym after a rough surgery during the birth of our last son. She is back to BUILDING and so am I! If you want to build something big you have to know what tools to bring to the construction site every day and exactly what work needs to be done when in order to get the best results. For me, building the deadlift comes down to a few details: 1) Deadlift with chains 2) Never do more than 3 reps My wife is a Weightlifter and we found that building her squat did nothing for her Snatch or Clean and Jerk but there were three exercises that did: 1) Deficit Pulls (Snatch and Clean Pulls) 2) Volume Deadlift work (sets of 1-5 at least 3x per week) 3) Progressive Work on these exercises On Sunday we both set PRs (hers was actually an All-Time PR) and I think that you can see the similarities in our technique. Don't forget how important technique work is on The Deadlift!
