I’m going to work on posting some more updates of our equipped lifters at OBB. Matt Wallace is currently 7 weeks out from his first meet at the APF Summer Siege on July 1st. He's been a member of OBB for 8 years, has been following the Minimalist Method religiously for years and has been making steady progress.

Matt has a previous injury to his left knee which causes him to shift to his right, which I believe has led to some low back issues. Here he is squatting 415+80 lbs of chains x3 onto a parallel box:

I’m doing my best to keep an eye on his technique to help correct the issue. In order to help correct this issue he’s also been incorporating:

- Single leg movements

-Heavy ab work

-Light reverse hypers

-Specific mobility work

Here’s Matt benching 445+80 lbs off of a 2 board for a double:

We’ve decided to only have him bench in the shirt every other week to prevent him from getting too beat up.  So he’ll bench off the 2 board equipped one week, then raw 2 board the next, then touch in the shirt the following, then 1 board raw the next.

I’ll be posting more updates as we get closer to the meet.
