I never held an All-Time World Record, not even the fake kind.

I was never ranked #1 on any lift for any year, but was the second loser once.

I was never the best in any gym I trained at, but got close once.

I’m not the most educated, but I did get a degree.

I’ve made more business mistakes than most, but hired great people.

I’m not the wealthiest person in the World, Country, State, City or neighborhood, but I’m rich in heart.

I have regrets, but am fortunate to have learned from them.

I’ve failed many times, but I’m not a failure.

Many days I don’t like the Man in the mirror, but it’s the only one I got.

I’m not who I want to be, but am working toward it.

I’ve written hundreds of articles and many books, but none a best seller.

I’ve burned bridges, but built stronger ones.

Sometimes I’m not sure why I do what I do, but know I have a purpose.

I’m not known for what I’ve done, but for what I’ve given.

Give until it hurts, and more, and you will never care who knows your name.
