Empty gym today. Seems as if no one wanted to be an ass kicker. I never measure how tough a fella looks by his biceps. If he has "haunches" like a Pegasus, and a Yoke like a lion's main, then I will give him respect. You don't get those identifying items unless you pick up copious amounts of weight. Six Pack? You may add? Nope! Everyone under 200 pounds better have them else you are soft! Pillow boy! I have a level of disappointment at the moment because I let my friends down!!! Only a handful that arrived today and allowed me to help them become even MORE bad ass than they already are. The others? I weep for their descendants (if they are man enough to father any) because they WILL be untaught and WILL be taken over by a hardier breed. Lord? Where did I go wrong?? Teach them big things in small ways so they might roam the earth more like a charging Rhino and less like a Cow! Today's Training: Tier I No run today. Had "Pup Duty" this morning at 3:00 AM so I substituted Concept II Row for 20 minutes after the lift. Dead Lift: 30 sets of 1 rep at 60% Reverse Hyper: 60 reps at 180 pounds, split into two sets Bike Commute: 17 minutes Tier II Box Squat: 5x20@55 lbs Split Squat: 5x10@45 lbs No Box Squat: 5x20@55 Rear Stepping Lunge with forward dumbbell touch to the floor: 5x10 each leg Box Jump: 5x10 onto a 12" box
