Sorry I haven't posted lately. I had to completely reboot (I think that's the right term) my computer. I lost everything I had except the important files that I saved on a zip drive. I played around the last week trying to find my new plan of attack. I think I'm on to it.

  • Deadlift: 255x3/290x3/325x5/3x5@255
  • Pull-ups: 10x5
  • Dips: 5x5
  • FBB Bench: 210x5/240x5/3x5@270
  • Hammer Row: 2x20
  • Side Raises: 50
I haven't done a great job of updating my numbers. I feel like I've been doing the same thing each week. Nonetheless, I'm making progress. In reality, I could do the exact same numbers for months at a time and if I concentrated on moving the bar faster and faster each session I would continue to get stronger. This gives me an idea for my training during football season. I feel like I'm getting the fire back. The last two weeks have been busy. I had 35 freshmen football players, 3 volleyball and 3 women's basketball players show up. This doubled my workload. Today I had the whole women's basketball team at 6am and will have the whole volleyball team at 3. I am in full swing summer training mode. And, to add insult to injury, it just started raining - HARD! Looks like breakfast is on hold until it lets up. I'm not walking to my truck in this. Other fun news, we made our switch to Under Armour as a university on Friday. I really like UA gear. The only problem is I don't have much of it, yet. I am a gear whore, but not in the powerlifting way. I love athletic gear. With the massive discount I get I'll be replacing all of my Nike and Russell gear (our old sponsorship deal) with UA. I'm already up to 10 t-shirts, 5 pairs of shorts, 3 pairs of shoes and 2 1/4 zip pullovers (my favorites) and I haven't even gotten my football, men's and women's basketball and volleyball gear, yet. We're looking at 2-3 more pairs of shoes, probably another 10 t-shirts and hopefully 3-5 more pairs of shorts. Football will get me some 1/4 zips for the sidelines along with at least 1 good winter jacket. Our HFC designs our hats, so I'll be custom ordering my own for sideline wear. I'm very picky when it comes to how good I look on the sidelines - and I look good. The next step is getting rid of all the Russell and Nike gear that I can't wear in the weight room anymore. Other than 4 or 5am wake-ups the rest of the summer, life isn't to tough.
