Leslie will be competing in the 365 Strong Nationals on November 9th. She’s now just 2 Weeks out. She has a busy schedule with a career as a pharmacist at a VA and actively rescues rabbits but still finds time to train at least 3 times a week. She has made consistent improvements for years without serious injury. Here’s what her training looks like leading into the meet: Squats: Week: 3- Opener without assistance/2nd and 3rd with reverse mini bands 2- Opener, 2nd and 3rd with reverse mini bands 1- 1- Deload the week prior to the meet w/around 70% 0- Meet week off Bench: 3- Opener without assistance/2nd and 3rd with reverse mini bands 2- Opener, 2nd and 3rd with reverse mini bands 1- 1- Deload the week prior to the meet w/around 70% 0- Meet week off Deadlift: 3- Opener without assistance/2nd and 3rd with reverse mini bands 2- Opener, 2nd with reverse mini bands, 3rd with reverse light bands 1- 1- Deload the week prior to the meet w/around 70% 0- Meet week off Here’s Leslie squatting her planned opener of 275, then her 2nd attempt of 295 and 3rd of 315 with reverse mini bands.
