I competed in NPC Junior Nationals on June 12-13. I came in with a much bigger and leaner package than years past. Since July we have slowly transitioned from a bodybuilding split to more of a powerlifting/strength focus, while still hitting lots of volume to build mass. Scott Paltos has been doing my programming since March. We've added quite a bit of muscle and are continuing to work some technical things with my raw lifts. No comp dates set in stone but looking at a meet this spring and a show in the summer. Hip was feeling good today. Not 100% but a LOT better. Got it loosened up a bit so hopefully it starts coming around. Sumo felt great. I was a little worried about how it would feel, but all felt fine. Actually felt like I was in a good position and it moved fast off the floor. Conventional felt a little heavy and a tad slower than I would like, but considering the way my hip has been feeling along with a few other daily stressors, I'll take it. Plus, we aren't really pushing the deads right now. So to pull a good double when I only pull every 4-6 weeks is good. Once I figure out a meet plan, then we'll go full prep mode.   Wednesday
