We can’t claim Seth Albersworth since he is a multi-gym member at Perfect Storm Hardcore Training Gym in Daytona, here at OBB, and at CTX but he had a great day as well. Congratulations to Seth Albersworth on his return to the platform and a huge 2000 lb total after a 2 year hiatus due to an injury. Returning to the platform after an injury requires a great deal of mental fortitude, to achieve a big PR requires even more. We could all learn from Seth’s journey. Here’s what Seth had to say about his day: “I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again- Getting hurt was one of the best things to ever happen to me, because it forced me to get better. • I’m proud of myself for getting back on the platform. I’m proud of myself for my first 2000lb raw total. I’m proud of myself for doing it with clean lifts. I also recognize that there is still a long way to go. • I’m thankful to still have the opportunity to do this, I’m thankful for having access to such amazing places to train, and I’m thankful to be a part of a crew where there are four people who total more than me. I love powerlifting.”View this post on Instagram
