As I mentioned, the 5x10 work is a lot for me in my advanced years. For the first time since I can remember my hip bothered me. No big deal. I have four more workouts and this little phase is over. I'm seeing it through. In the future I can do higher volume with my upper body with no issues. The lower body is a no go. It's just not worth feeling like crap for the sake of getting it done. I'm still trying to find out my next plan of action.
