I hate to sound like an old man because I really do love modern conveniences, but social media is killing me right now. My injuries are still slowing me waaaaaay down, but fortunately, they are at least improving a bit. Much like all of you who come to Elitefts, I love to train. It's one of my favorite things. It was taken away from me for a little while so I am grateful that I can do it to some extent at all right now. Years ago before social media was so prevalent, you really had no idea what other lifters were doing. If you were on the shelf, you just let things run their course. But now if I look at my Instagram for even a second I'll see people busting out some serious training, hitting pr's, and doing all the things I want to be able to do. It's pretty much why I have stepped away from social media for the most part. As a result, I'm in a better place. So if you are suffering a setback, taking a break from social media might just make it easier for you. Just a thought.
