One of my police officers came in this morning with a nice compliment. He got himself roped into a WOD workout with a new exercise program called "Orange" something or another. Seems his buddies thought he was just a heavily muscled "meathead" and couldn't hang with the CONDITIONED crowd. Well, as it turns out, he not only could "HANG"...he BLEW the other people out of the water. He was in far better condition and was FAR and AWAY stronger than the Orange Julius Participants. Way to GO Ryan!!! No one will kick sand on your beach blanket!!!!!   Continuation of Sciatic Gate: Suspended Knee Ups: 4x10 BOSU Sit ups (only to parallel to the floor): 4x10 Wood Chops: 3x12x30 McGill Situps: 2x10 SQUAT: 8x11x80 (Using the Mastodon Bar) #2 Pin Pull: 10x3x95 GHR: 4x10 I am tempted to jog on the football field...maybe later today. 6x50yard? We'll see. I believe the way to make a person strong is to find where they are weak, which demands some critiquing. Build up that weakness and strength will follow. But, that depends on one's definition of strength and weakness. It may or may not be all physical. (uh oh!) I no longer concern myself with what OTHER define as strong and focus on what I believe strength is for ME. Just a thought... Like the photo? It was close to the top in the library. My computer is too darn slow to scroll through to find my own. So, what is close by could be fun to hi jack.
