So, I got my first training session in after about a good eight weeks. My back is not feeling great and I'm sure it's from stress and inactivity. I knew loading my back would not be a good idea, but I had a wild hair up my ass. I have done a belt squat with weights on my dip belt standing between my dip rack on the supports. It's a little hairy, but it served its purpose. With my body feeling the way it did, I figured I shouldn't tempt fate with that setup. Hmmm, what to do? Then I looked over at my cable machine and thought, that bottom pulley that sucks to be on the floor rowing with might just make a decent belt squat setup. I put down some 3" blocks that I had for block pulls and rigged up a clip on the dip belt and away I went. I seriously couldn't be more happy with the setup. I wish I had room for a real Elitefts belt squat, but this will do for now.
