I came in on Sunday and started my "new" plan. The 17 day hiatus from lifting was needed. The nerve in my back is still bad, but the rest of my body feels great.

  • SSB Box Squat: 155x5/175x5/205x5/225x5/245x5
  • Push-ups: 5x10
  • DB Incline: 5x10 w/30's
  • T-Bar: 5x10 w/ 3 plates
  • Side Raises: 5x10
  • DB Curls: 5x10
  • SSB Shrug: 5x5
  • Pull-aparts: 50
Squatting felt good. Nothing hurt. Push-ups felt good. I used the Fat Grips on these. No pain, just a little weakness locking out (nerve). I messed around with the FBB, but it didn't feel right. Oddly, DB Incline w/ Fat Grips felt really good. No pain. The weight wasn't heavy, but it's a start and it look like something I'll be able to use if I'm smart. T-Bar was great. It definitely tightened up my back and the nerve is unhappy this morning. But, I did some stuff yesterday that made it feel really good. I'll repeat today and see if I get similar results. The morning after... I feel the squats. I feel the Push-ups/DB Incline. I feel the T-Bar... But, no rotator cuff pain! This is magical and surprising. I'll see what tomorrow brings.
