On Tuesday I completely forgot to do my bodyweight circuit. On my ride home I realized I didn't get it in. The brain may be shutting down. On Wednesday I doubled up. Wednesday: Bodyweight Circuit and Conditioning

My lower back has been bothering me the last few weeks. I have been doing most of my deadlifting around 315 for my heaviest set for months and I've been feeling good. So, like the true genius I am, I decided to mess with what's been working. Result: my back hurts. On top of that, my hip has been acting up. I think that's because of the drastic change in the weather, though. Next week I'll take a deload week. My goal will be to get some good work in, give my body a little break and then get back on course. Side note: I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep, so that's not helping at all. After next week I'll see how I feel. I may just go back to my old deadlift progression and if I'm feeling good I can always take a few extra heavier sets. If not, at least I can still pull each week without beating myself up. Nonetheless, I'm still getting in some good training sessions and making progress. As you can tell, I suck at Pressing. The other day I took 155 as my heaviest set. It was much easier than it has been in the past so the volume of work is paying off. I'm looking forward to a little rest week and then getting back to it.
