Perform from the Dead or Hang position

You will be able to clean more weight from the Dead position (just like the Olympic squat clean vs the hang clean). The greater ROM provides for more force to be generated The higher the rack position (more fully extended at the knees, hips) the greater demand for explosive strength The lower the rack position (the deeper the squat position that you are in when you rack the kettlebell) the greater amount of weight you will be able to clean

Pull up and back explosively As the kettlebell clears your knees your weight will shift to the balls of your feet as you fully extend your ankles, knees, hips Rack the kettlebell tight to your body
