We put the elitefts Custom 4-Way Tower in the gym in 2025. What you see in the photo is the single-station version we run here. We have also done double-station builds for training centers, high school weight rooms, and performance facilities. The configuration depends on what you need. That's the point.

What We Were After

The goal going in was a quad station that thought past four stations. One side runs dual cables. Adjacent to that is a single cable. When you position those two toward a corner, they combine into a full functional trainer. That takes a frame built for four stations and gives you five working positions without adding floor space.

The cable sides also include a single slider with double-pull options at both ends. So whether you need two cables to move independently or both to pull together from the same point, the unit handles it.

The Low Row Station

Rather than a fixed seat, we went with an adjustable bench and cable. This is worth explaining because it changes how much you can do with a single station. The bench incline adjusts. Your torso angle adjusts with it. The exercise selection opens up considerably beyond what a fixed seat and pad will allow. One station, a lot of rows.

In practice, the low row side gets used constantly. Pull-overs with the low cable are the movement that gets hit the most on this unit. Good pull-overs done right are hard to replace for lat development, and having the cable at floor level with a stable setup makes them easy to load and adjust. Low rows are right behind that.

The Assisted Dip and Chin Station

The dip handles are adjustable. Grip width affects the demand on the triceps versus the chest and shoulders, and for strength athletes, that distinction matters. Dips on this station get used every session. Assisted work here doesn't mean beginner-only. It means the station accommodates loading, body weight, and assistance across whatever the training calls for.

Single Station, Double Station, or More

We run a single-station configuration in our gym. We have also spec'd and built double-station versions for training centers and high school weight rooms that need to handle multiple athletes running through the same movements simultaneously. The double-station build puts more of these positions on a single footprint, which makes sense when you have a program running 20 to 30 athletes at a time through accessory and upper-body work.

If you're outfitting a performance facility, a school weight room, or a private gym and you're thinking through what configuration fits your population and floor plan, those are conversations worth having before you commit to a layout.

Talk to Someone Who Knows Strength Facilities

This unit is custom-built. The right configuration for your space depends on your athletes, your programming, and how your gym flows. Not every situation calls for the same setup, and we have built enough of these to know that the details matter.

Talk to an elitefts Strength Equipment Specialist to go through what makes sense for your facility. Single station, double station, or something else, they can walk you through options and help you get the build right. You can also reach us directly at 888-854-8806.
