There are two ways to look at the name of this exercise:

1. It resembles a prisoner, becasue the ankle cuffs are around your wrists and thus look like you are in handcuffs. Thus, you are a "prisoner".

2. This is the last exercise I would do in prison as it effectively diminishes any hope you would have of fending off attackers with your arms.

So with that in mind, here is the exercise. Attach two ankle cuffs to a small nylon strap. Here we used the top portion of the EFS Blast Straps. Place both hands through the cuffs so that the pressure is on your wrists.

This exercise is great for anyone that wants to take their grip out of their pulling movements or has any kind of hand injury. This is a great movement for inseason athletes that are dealing with hand/finger problems.
