This exercise is a great way to work each leg independently. Begin with your weaker leg out in front of you and your other leg on a box or a bench. Your front leg should be far enough in front of you that your knee does not travel over your toes in the bottom position. Make sure you keep your lower back arched, your head and eyes up and your upper back pulled together. You can use dumbbells or a barbell to perform this exercise.
