Here is another great pec movement for those trying to avoid or come back from pec tears.

Stand away from the cable machine with one handle in each hand and begin the movement as you would a dumbbell Fly (arms out with chest in pre-streched position). To begin the movement bring your hands together in the same arch as you would hug a tree. Play around with different hand positions to see what what you like best. I like to start with my thumbs up and finish with them together.

I have also found leaning into the movement at the start position makes a huge different in the stretch and blood I can bring into the muscle.
