The thick rope has endless uses and this is one of the best uses.

You can also perform these in a recline position which works the back from a different angle in addition to being more applicable for heavier athletes. We utilize all angles with our combat athletes but our Football athletes tend to work the recline rope rows most. In the upright pulling photo you can see I am using a back pack loaded with four 10 lb plates, just another excellent way to intensify your pulling movements.
