This is another Yoke variation on the standard upright row. The quest for the yoke will never stop. And when on this quest, you will be confronted by many exercises and you will have to learn what to use and what to discard.

The upright row with chains is something I like to do for high reps (around 20). This is not an everyday exercise, but something I would throw in every so often for a little variety.

Always keep your elbows above the bar and make sure that you keep some of the chain on the ground when you are at the top. You don't need to make this into a "functional/stability" exercise. Another tip; keep the rhythm steady. If your form gets sloppy, the chains will start jerking you around.
