This is all about the GPP here. Uphill runs are preferred and the wheelbarrow can be loaded with any number of objects at a very heavy weight.

You can also slide a PVC handle around the handles to add more grip factor.

What we would do was add plates, sandbags, kettlebells and / or dumbbells into the wheelbarrow.

After a full lap around the backyard or going up the street - the athlete would have one exercise to perform at the top of the street / end of lap for 10 reps.

Then they would repeat for 5 - 7 minutes non stop.

Some Exercises to add with any implement:

- snatches - clean and press - swings - sandbag shouldering - military press

possibilities here are endless, but, preference is to perform a basic dumbbell, sandbag or bodyweight movement and then repeat for extended time periods.

Go find an old wheelbarrow at a garage sale, or rig one up yourself from an old tire and scrap metal from a junk yard!
