The Jon Mike File Jonathan Mike, PhD (candidate), CSCS, USAW, NSCA-CPT, studied exercise physiology at the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque). He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise science from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mike has been lifting and training heavy for 14 years and has been competing in the sport of Strongman since 2007. He qualified for the national competition in 2009. He has a 635 pound raw deadlift and a 300 pound overhead press.
