I don't know why exactly I chose today to weigh myself but for some reason I did. I made the conscious decision before surgery to stay off the scale in an attempt to lesson the stress and mental wear not being able to train and inevitably loosing weight had on me. At my pre-op screening I weighed 254 pounds...today, just over 7 weeks later, I weighted 244. I was very happy that I have only lost 10 pounds. I was really expecting to be in the mid to low 230's. I don't feel like 240 pounds and I feel weak as ever but at least my body is keeping my weight on.
