I am here to live, learn, and pass on.

First day back to training since the Powerlifting Experience II. I was pretty drained so I took a few days off. I figured just getting back on schedule rather than try to make up for the days I missed was a smarter move, and my body probably needed the break anyway. I got a lot of good pointers and feedback over the weekend and wanted to implement them into my training right away.

Something Casey Williams suggested was to not rely on the belt so much. I use and abuse it because it helps create the intra-abdominal pressure I need during the lift (pushing out against the belt). Going belt-less will teach my body to get tight and aggressive under the bar without relying on the belt. I'll probably train beltless for the next few weeks and then throw on a belt to see where I'm at.
