OH MY GOD, I’m saying it again, my back, hip, and rib area are all feeling increasingly better. Dare I say getting my body is getting close to feeling normal? Of course, it’s my normal which is probably far from regular human normal.

So I am naming the exercises above “The Fantastic Four.” Yep, pretty original. At least it’s easy for me to write in my log if I feel like abbreviating. The best thing about these stretches is that they provide the benefit I’m looking for without beating me up for training. Some wreck me for days and I never feel recuperated to train. The plan will to continue running these 2-3 a day.

Now on to the more fun aspect of training, conditioning. Can you believe conditioning can actually be fun? Jess and I dropped my truck off at a restaurant on the beach and then we took her car with the paddle boards to another. We then proceeded to paddle 90 minutes to our destination.

Paddle boarding is awesome exercise, plus you get to do it out in the ocean under the sun. Even better, I was out with a hot woman in a bikini (I never take this for granted as when I was younger all I ever wanted to do was hang out with girls in bikinis, or less). But I digress, my heart rate stays just shy of 100 so this is great for burning some calories without sacrificing recovery.

When we got to the restaurant I even ate carbs. I had an awesome western breakfast sandwich on whole wheat toast. I know, this sounds hardly like a reward, but I rarely eat out. Plus I don’t usually eat before 3:00 let alone CARBS. So this indeed was a real treat. That’s also a nice aside about dieting most foods taste pretty damn good because chances are you are hungry when you get to eat.
