Getting closer and closer to the XPC World meet at The Arnold Classic. I the past 2 years I competed in the deadlift only at The Arnold and the 2 years before that I did the Pro Day Full Meet. I'm excited to get back on the platform for the full meet again. Training has been going well, and I feel like I am on track to hit some PR's.
Deficit deadlift (plates were in kilos, so most weights are rounded to pounds) 135x2 225x2 315x1 365x1 405x1 455x1 495x1 545x1 585x1 625x1 666x1
Everything felt really well and moved well, I can't complain on how my deadlift has been going. I still haven't pulled straight weight (no bands/chains/deficit) off of the floor in a couple months, so I am excited to see how that feels.
Accessory work: Single Leg Machine Hamstring curl: 3x20 each leg Seated Cable Rows: 3x20 Neutral Grip Pullups: 4x 15,15,12,10
I would have typically done another hamstring/glute/low back accessory, but we are squatting heavy Saturday.
