I’m currently in off season mode working on bringing up certain qualities and weaknesses I noticed from the IPA Grand Prix Nationals. This training will be laying the ground for my training cycle into the 2016 XPC Finals.

Monday evening I got in a light mini session and this was super fun. A lot of "pump" and blood flow work. I got a great pump from the 10 sets of 10 on bench press. It looks so easy on paper, but by the 8th set or so it was catching up to me. The key here was to keep my rest around 60 seconds or less. The rest was super simple.

More minor improvement upon the grip work. I really suck with triples on the rack pulls, so I'm still happy with this, but I still would like to see these numbers make some improvements. A really quick day with a total of about 40 minutes of work.

I've felt these sessions have really helped my recovery and keep working on some things I suck at, so I'm really enjoying them. It also just gives me a good amount of time to clear my head and get some free time to myself on what would usually be "off" days.
